Solos are very welcome. In shared rooms we try to match same-sex when possible, private rooms may be available for a supplement (varies by trip).— tell us your preference when booking and we'll keep you updated.
All levels are very welcome. Most of us sit between beginner and intermediate. The coaching will adapt to each ones experience and confidence in water.
Think curious, active humans who love the ocean, are happy to share a house, and feel excited about stepping into a new culture. Some come with a friend or partner, many come solo. The common thread is wanting a week of surf, nature, good company – and a lot of joy – in a warm, community-focused setting.
We aim for 3–4 surfers per coach so you get the most out of your time in the water.
Please do — most people do. Room setups vary by trip (shared twins or doubles). Check the trip page for what’s available in that edition.
€500 deposit secures your spot. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip. We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and SEPA bank transfer.

Our villas have Wi-Fi that’s fine for messages and light work, but the week is not designed as a full-time workation. Surf times, tides and group plans shape the days, so you’ll need some flexibility. If you just need to check in or answer a few emails, that’s usually totally manageable.
It varies a bit by destination, but usually the price includes:
– accommodation in a shared villa
– most meals (details on each trip page)
– daily surf sessions or guiding with boards
– local activities and community experiences
– hosting and coordination by the Bruna crew
Usually not included: flights, travel insurance, some meals out, personal shopping, and any optional add-ons listed on the trip page.
You should be comfortable being active for a week: paddling, walking on sand, climbing in and out of the water. If you can comfortably swim 200 meters and you’re okay with a bit of tiredness and salt water, you’ll be fine. If you have any injuries or medical conditions, message us before booking so we can give an honest answer.
Yes. Basic swimming ability is required for safety in the ocean. If you can comfortably swim 200 meters and you’re okay with a bit of tiredness and salt water, you’ll be fine.
We plan one coached surf session per day. On some days you’ll also have time to free-surf if conditions and energy allow. A coached session is usually around 1,5-2 hours in the water, plus time on the beach for warm-up and briefing.
A lot of people combine the week with extra travel. The Bruna part covers the official trip dates; before and after that you’re on your own. If we know good guesthouses, surf schools or local contacts in the area, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
If we ever need to cancel (e.g., safety/operational reasons or not reaching minimum numbers), you can move to another week or receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
About ~2 hours coached. On some days you’ll also have time to free-surf.
Each trip has a maximum of 10 spots.
It depends on the destination and house. We’ll always show the exact mix (twins/doubles, any private options) on each trip page.
We shoot casually through the week and share a folder with the group afterward.
Visa rules vary by passport. Please check your embassy/consulate before booking flights. If you need help just message us.
No hidden fees. Any add‑ons (e.g., airport transfers, workshops) are listed on each trip page.
Yes. If you can’t make it, you can transfer your place to another person (subject to our approval). Email us their details and we’ll help make the switch.
Yes — boards and essentials are provided. If you prefer your own board, bring it along.
pay in full at checkout or book with a €500 deposit and settle the balance 60 days before your trip. No additional installment plans right now—the deposit locks your spot.
We choose spots and times daily based on conditions, brief clearly on the beach, and keep groups small. You’ll need travel insurance that covers surfing.
